A+ Registration Update
The state of Hawai’i has changed the hiring procedures & background checks for new A+ employees. Though DREAM Co. (our A+ provider) is a private provider for A+ services, they must also follow the state’s new policy. This may result in a delay of possibly 30-90 days before a newly hired employee can work in the A+ program. At this time, there are five (5) returning staff who are currently in the state’s system. Therefore, only the first 100 students with completed registration may be accepted into the A+ Afterschool Program (completed registration requires all forms to be signed and completed. Payment must also be made for registration to be complete). Students registering for A+ after that will be placed on a wait list in the order the applications & payments are received. Once new staff has been cleared to work in the A+ program, you will be notified so that your child can begin A+. Please visit the A+
