Here is how to get involved with ‘AINA In Schools at 'Aikahi Elementary School
Gardens:
• Opening day for 'Aikahi Elementary’s Gardens: Sat. Sept. 6th. Everyone is Invited!
• Garden Helper Volunteers: Help with garden lessons and/or garden maintenance (Flexible!)
Nutrition Lessons:
• Train to be a docent and lead Nutrition Lessons (8/year) for 2nd or 6th grade
• No experience necessary
• All supplies and references are provided
Other ways to support the ‘AINA IS program at your school:
• Waste reduction
• Vermicomposting
• Healthy school Lunches
• Farm field trips and Farmer visits
• School and community outreach
